Limestone chips are used in cactus and succulent grow mediums to add calcium carbonate to the soil and to increase the soils PH.
 
Dr. Greenthumbs limestone chips are conveniently screened to 1-5mm and make a perfect additive to plants from a native limestone range.
 
Ratios of use in your medium depend on what you are growing and can range from 5% to 25% total soil volume.
