Copiapoa cinerea

Native to the region of Antofagasta, Chile, this rare cactus has a reputation for being hard to keep due to its risk of rot. However, Copiapoa cinerea is also one of the most highly sought-after cacti for its attractive appearance! Interestingly, due to the heavy coastal fogs in its native habitat of Chile, it is often recommended to mist the Copiapoa to mimic this habitat.
